Elkhart Lake, WI – August 23, 2017 – The Trans Am presented by Pirelli Series will stage alongside the NASCAR Xfinity Series this Sunday at Road America, Aug 27. Burtin Racing and the No. 50 GoShare/Axalta Chevrolet Camaro will field the TA class again this weekend at Round 8 with driver Martin Ragginger.
Burtin Racing and Ragginger are coming off a second-place finish at Mid-Ohio just two weeks ago. This marked the debut of the new Camaro body style and Axalta partnership. Further success is anticipated and the team is fully focused on improving to the top podium spot at the iconic Road America venue on Sunday.
“The team was pleased with the performance of the car at Mid-Ohio and we are ready to further our progress at Road America this weekend,” stated Claudio Burtin, Burtin Racing team owner. “This will be our second race with Martin in the TA class and he is coming straight from finishing second at Nurburging last weekend. He’s a driver that is always primed and ready to put up results.”
With the stylish European Ragginger piloting the GoShare/Axalta Camaro at Road America and the racecar sporting the Gallant Gray – Color of the Year paint as debuted earlier this month along with the GoShare/Axalta design – the Burtin Racing entrant is sure to be an eye-catching contender.
