Braselton, GA (March 25, 2021) – After a solid start to the 2021 Trans Am Presented by Pirelli Championship season, Lucas Oil SlickMist driver Tomy Drissi heads to Road Atlanta 3rd place in the Championship standings as a force to be reckoned with. In addition to the two podium finishes he had last season, Drissi has a long history of podium finishes at Road Atlanta including a 3rd, two 2nds, and a win in the 2017 IMSA 10-Hour Petit Le Mans.
“Road Atlanta is one of the most exciting races of the year. Although it is the Burtin Racing home track, the competition is fierce and the race is always close.” said Drissi. “Coming off of the two podium finishes the last time we were there, we have a lot to defend, but Burtin Racing knows just how to make the wicked slick Lucas Oil SlickMist Camaro wicked quick there, and I know it’s going to be a great show.”
Heading into round two at Road Atlanta, Drissi is one of the top contenders for the 2021 championship.
