SEBRING, FL – February 26, 2022 – Martin Ragginger returns to Trans Am Series in Sebring to celebrate The Peter Gregg Foundation. Starting the weekend off strong, “Raggi” piloted the Burtin Racing Chevy Camaro to second fastest during qualifying, just 0.2 seconds behind champion Chris Dyson. This is the first race for Austrian native since the 2020 Road Atlanta double header where he brought home a first and second place finish.

“I‘m excited to race the #59 Peter Gregg Foundation car. It’s an honor to drive a car with the name of one of the greatest Porsche drivers all time on it and represent his legacy.”

Ragginger isn’t alone on the track as Jose Chocron, the Panamanian native, joins him in the #9 Burtin Racing Camaro.
“I’m happy we can continue to show support for Simon Gregg and the Peter Gregg Foundation throughout the 2022 season.” said team owner Claudio Burtin who also tested the new tire and wheel package earlier this week.

The season opener at Sebring International Raceway for the 2022 Trans Am Championship starts Saturday February 26 at noon. Live stream coverage can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/c/SpeedTourTV
