Claudio Burtin (born 17 September 1962 in Rosario, Argentina) is an American entrepreneur, industrialist, chemist, race car driver and owner of Burtin Racing. At a young age he emigrated to the United States from Argentina and spend most of his childhood in Southern California. Where his love for automobiles and innovation began.
Claudio’s newly renovated 73,000 sq ft facility manufactures his personally engineered bedliner, spray foam and protective coatings. Claudio’s innvation and passion for motorsports can be seen in his brand new product RaceSeat.com, a kit that allows crews create custom seat inserts molded to the driver without the need for special equipment while balancing comfort and sensation to the driver. RaceSeat.com will be available starting January 2022.
PROFESSIONAL LIFE:
He began working for his father at Chemetics Systems Inc. in Compton, CA at the age of fifteen. One of Claudio’s first inventions was when he sprayed the first bedliner in 1986 and developed LINE-X, a brand name now synonymous to spray in bedliner. Additionally Claudio also created the LINE-X competitor Bullet Liner (thus giving him the nickname “The Godfather of Bedliner” and the blast mitigation polymer PAXCON that has been used on government and military facilities (including The Pentagon) for bomb/blast defense. Burtin’s work can be found everywhere, including on strategic parts of the Trident 3 Missile.
